The type of dispense head that you need is depending on the beer brand that you are going to poor. Most of the bigger and famous beer breweries need their own type of dispense head. In this blog you learn about the several typs fo dispense heads that are available and als which one you need to have for pooring your favourite beer brand.
S-type dispense head
The S-type dispense head also known as sankey dispense head. The S-type dispense head is a quiet popular dispense head. If you are going to poor beers from Heineken, the S-type dispense head is the one you need.

A-type dispense head
The A-type dispense head is also a popular type of dispense head. You will need the A-type dispense head if you are going to poor beers from Grolsch and also if you are going to poor 20 liter kegs from Inbev.

M-type dispense head
The M-type dispense head is less popular that the other ones. From the big and famous beer brands only Bavaria is uses the M-type dispense head.
NOTE: The M-type dispense heads looks almost the same as the A-type dispense head. There is a difference in diameter from the inner part of the dispense head. The diameter of the inner part from the A-type dispense head is bigger than from the M-type. G-type dispense head
This dispense head is also less popular than the S-type or A-type dispense head. From the big and famous breweries Gulpener uses the G-type dispense head. The G-type dispense head looks almost the same as the keykeg dispense head but are different. The inner part of the keykeg coupler is conisch which means that it goes from wide to small. The keykeg dispense head is a dispense head that you need for the plastic recycable one way kegs. These kegs are mostly used by local craft breweries. Although they look like the G-type dispense head the keykeg dispense head is different and only fits on the plastic one way kegs.
D-type and U-type dispense heads for UK markets
In the UK and Ireland there are several beer brands that make use of D-type and U-type dispense heads. The dispense heads as described above are heavily used for West European markets such as the Netherlands, Belgium France and Germany.
Beer brands for which you need a D-type or U-type dispense head are Guinness, Coors and Murphy's.
Several dispense heads for your beer tap installation
